Drakes Circus Group Visit
As a build up to the Site Specific Brief the entire iDat 101 group went to Drakes Circus Shopping centre as an idea of how to record navigation around the centre.

WorkBook- Year One Workshop
The beginning of the first year the iDat 101 group used a range of techniques to create various drawings. Each image shown below was created using different methods which are described alongside them. The main aim of the drawings and their methods is to get numerous people all thinking in the same way to achieve a realistic looking image

'The Elephant'
This drawing was created by one person describing where to move the pencil on the paper whilst the other person had to follow the instructions with their eyes closed.

'The Car'- This was created using the same method as the elephant drawing.

This image represents a circus. It was created by a group of us all drawing the images on the paper at the same time.
It features all the things you would find at a typical circus even though it looks very messy. The purpose of this is to try and get all involved thinking in the frame of mind.
This image is supposed to be Mickey Mouse. The method behind this design was two people holding one one pen and without communicating or guiding each others hands draw our perception of Mickey Mouse. This is the end result.
